Matt I have had my share of both rotaries (1200 ute with 13Bjport) and Nissan
motors both A14 and Ca18 in a 1200 coupe. I would recommend against the
rotary although you can get get HP they are very thirsty and quite unreliable
in comparison to the Nissan motors Stick with a twin cam either turbo or NA
can get good hp at simaller cost but at least you know it will start
tomorrow. Plus datsuns should stay datsun powered :) I have learnt my lessons
the hard way. Also less breakages with nissan. I broke 4 RX7 boxes before
getting a Supra box.
Andrew
BTW: my 1200 ute run 12.6 with 13B jport the 1200 coupe with CA18 has run
12.0 down quarter and cost less to build.
