Subject: KAK VIRUS

List,
Regarding the KAK virus, I followed the steps supplied by Terry (Is there anything he cant do?) and sure
enough, I had been infected, and removed it. But on checking lateron, it was back. I dug out my old copy
of ANTI VIRAL TOOLKIT PRO and updated its data base (as of 15/5/00) and it found infected files
in the windows/system directory. So guys, if you are infected  then you must check windows/system directory
for abnormal files. Mine was calles 41627c40.hta, so I guess the virus adds numerous files with the hta
 extension.
