Hey all,
The hard-to-start L18 turned out to be a problem with the points. Threw
in a new set and she now kicks first time (even on cold mornings!) Within
3 days those points were buggered and blue from arcing so I replaced the
condensor this morning. The one I took out was marked 0.22uF and the one I
found in the workshop was 0.47uF but seems to run fine. Question being,
what spec condensor is supposed to be in the L18? Is the 0.47uF alright to
have in there? Thanks,
