Use a radiator cleaner before you refill.  The cleaner is pretty harsh so
dont leave it in long.  Follow the instructions on the tin.  You have to
thoroughly flush the cleaner out before refilling with antifreeze. If you
have flushed it well, the insides of the radiator and the block will be
stripped clean of built up rust and/or oil.
