hi i just put a z-18 turbo into my 1600 and im just wondering if anyone with
a bit more experience with the engine has some good advice for me?
the engine is standard {has just been rebuilt} sounds a bit lumpy and may
have a cam but it hard to tell at the moment as it is running ruff
im getting a pintara dist converted to fit the z-18 as caps and rotors may
be a pain to get
the standard computer doesnt use all the components it basically runs the
injectors the air flow meter
the only sensors used are the water temp and idle enrichment
does anyone know if theres any difference in water temp sensors between ca18
and the z -18
cuz it likes to idle high even when it is warm 180f
when driving and change gears the revs don't drop but tend to go up to
either 2000 or 3000 revs
it only running 5 psi at the moment and this isn't kicking in all the time
the electrics are braking down on load
just wondering what sort of return from the turbo do most people use as i
had to change mine and it a pain and the pipe i put on want last it might
but next time i have to do it will be the last.
