ok I've done this conversion in stages:- first 180b booster and master
cylinder (girlock) and used all the lines to the proporting valve and run
the original lines in the 1600 to that. (please note use the booster set up
with the alloy spacer cause it will fit (booster ect) straight in with
that. Then two weekends ago i fitted up 240k struts which don't go straight
in as i have learned . Apparently there is three types of lower control arm
configs which varary how the struts fit and if they rub on steering
conponments. ON mine (with the calliper facing the rear of the car) they
fitted no probs (in the steering department) but the backing plate was
rubbing on the lower control arm (just lower the ball joint) which i
retified by gringing the lip of the lower control arm and rolling the edge
over. the strut tops have to be swapped with the 1600 ones or the holes
enlarged on one of the three holes (different stud off set) I slightly bent
one stud and enlargened the in side hole (closest to the engine bay) make
sure all the bake cylinders are in all good shape before fitting (learnt
from experiance -two recond callipers and master cylinder yesterday) and
know my brakes are excellent
