Luke,

I had one of these in my 1600 for awhile when it had the NA SR20 in it. It
was actually pretty good. Not as sluggish as I expected.

The turbo engines seem to thrive on being loaded up with a tall diff. I'm
currently running a 3.7 behind my SR turbo , and had always intended to go
4.11 when I found something suitable, but it pulls 3.7 so well that I'm not
going to bother. I reckon 3.54 behind an SR turbo would be fine.

PL

I bought what had been a very nice 2 door coupe for $150 complete, with
damage to FR corner where it leant on a tree. All the bits I mentioned are
now running round in other cars, or shelved for future project use, except
for the 3.54 R180 diff, which I must try out in an SR20T powered 1600. It
would have to be good for 150MPH at least.
