At the time I did mean L14 but on reflection you're correct as an L16 would
have a CR of around 7.8:1 with a 41cc FAI head. Someone was building a L14
Turbo in NZ but I haven't heard if it's a goer yet. There is a dude in
Alaska who's built one using a L16/A87/T04 and the performance figures are
not bad, not as good as the SR or FJ but you'd have to spend a lot of money
on a NA L series to get the same HP.
