i thought i would add an update, as for putting a volatile fuel in a washer
bottle under the bonnet, we all know that it has been done with methanol before,
and if in the fast fours and rotaries crew are prepared to put this mix into
a metho bottle and squirt it in the top of the carby than i figure the fuel
may just be safe enough to store in this manner. but back to the original question,
if the nitro methane cuases a lean out, then how will it react if combined (read
injected) with a motor that is running ulp, im not planning to use the NM as
the primary fuel, just as a low down assistant to get the motor up on boost
(and obviously only in a drag situation). also will the fuel have to be stored
in a pressure sealed container?. and by the way, excuse my lack in knowledge
but what are the "darwin awards". and just in case you think im just a wanker
that is trying to type tough, i have built five modified motors in my life,
all datsun, using webers, turbos and the like. im not trying to brag coz i know
most of you guys,(especially terry, who seems to know just about everything
there is to know), would kick my ass in knowledge and experience, but just trying
to dispell myths that im a dick who knows nothing. is it possible that just
because the idea never struck you that you should discredit it so quicky, i
mean the fastest drag cars in the world run the very fuel im asking about. sorry
if im causing hassles, i dont mean to bicker on the list.
Warmest Regards

Andrew Kubenk
