I am wondering if someone can fill me in on what are the differences and what you have to do/change to modfiy a carby for either setup.. I understand draw thru like conventional carby setup where the manifold pressure draws fuel from the carby, whereas blow thru pressurises the fuel coming out of the jets? Am i on the right track? The reason asking is i have a Weber 36DCD which I am throwing up whether to run it in a E15. I have most of the bits to run it turbocharged but am tossing up the pros/cons of running an non engineered turbo setup (more fuel plus engine will die not long after so more $$$) or running just the carb and some extractors and exhaust (less $$$ on Astra and more on other car). I don't have a clue what sort of pressure is required for draw thru (and how it would work with positive manifold pressure) and I can't comprehend how blow thru works and how you get correct mixtures, can someone explain? thanks - Julian --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
