my L16 revs fairly hard till 5300 then suddenly
throws you back and launches forward but only for like another 500rpm then just
sits even and stops accelerating
I was trying to work out how I can get it to
keep pulling after this power burst and only thing I could come up with is
that's where the cams power curve begins but it's not getting enough fuel for
those kind of revs
am I right?
if so does anyone have a set of twin carbs and
manifold they want to sell?
dunno if this helps you or not but it's an L16
with port matched head/manifold, Ivan Tighe cam, 5 spd SSS stanza box and SSS
stanza 4.375:1 diff (but the engine and box is going into another car and will
have 3.90:1 diff)
thanks guys 'n' gals
Dave
