Wojee,
I assume that you are running an FJ20 or SR 20DET @ 12Psi boost? These both
flow approx 630 cfm of air @ 7000Rpm.
To handle this volume of air without restriction you will need smooth 3"
bends, with gentle radius curves. I would use 3" also after the
intercooler.
Cheers

Hello guys,

A question for you turboed guys out there.... What is the nominal diameter
for intercooler plumbing with regard to both to and from the intercooler,
in
a 1600; naturally :O) ??

I am using a 13b intercooler, possibly water injection as supplement. If
thats any importance?!?!?

[I refer to exhaust tubing, eg. 2 inch OD( 50mm) / 45mm ID when refering to
sizes]

I have heard that smaller diameter pipe results in higher velocity of the
air??
However I am also aware that too small and we delve into restriction issues
Can anyone please share their experience or experiences ( estimations, and
pulling things out of one's ass accepted hee hee) spread light on the
subject, as I am wanting to finalise material purchase ( read: diameter and
length

Thankyou in advance.

Wojee
