What engine is in your 510?
What shift pattern does it have?
How long is it? or how long is the tailshaft?
Is the plate between the bell housing and the gearbox alloy or steel?
How many switches are on the drivers side, there will be at least one for
the reversing lights.
this should give a bit of an idea what it is or at least some clues to
advise suitable replacements.

I have a 5 speed Nissan box in my 510. It is starting to crunch on
downchanges and I want to know what type it is so I can get it fixed or
replaced. It is in the car and the only number I can find on it is on the
top of the bellhousing. It is 7910435. Anyone????
