g'day,

[insert novice disclaimer here]

thanks for the answers to the diff question.. i had originally planned to
use the R200 LSD from a 300ZX on that topic:

        - does anyone know which 300ZX's diffs will fit? and what year aswell as
models these come in.. all/some?
.. aswell as anything special it requires?
        - are these diffs clutch plate / viscious? and does anyone have any
preferences one way or the other with cluth/viscious?

on another note.. i think i'm starting to get the bumpsteer thing wrapped
around my head (thanks Derek).. will soon be buying "how to make your car
handle" after several recommendations.. so my question is:

what other problems are there with regards to lowering a datto.. i am
trying to plan out my "dream" datto before i start and would like to have
as much information about what problems i will come up against when i
decide to lower it. so if anyone has anything to add to bumpsteer.

i also understand that lowering the rear end so as the half-shafts are
horizontal means that the uni joints absorb less power?.. confirmation?

Derek mentioned another alternative to slotting the rear x-member to
correct camber and toe-in was to use bolt-on mounts on the x-member.
Does anyone know exactly how this is done? or even better.. has anyone done
it before and could be bothered explaining it to me?.. I decided to send
this question to the list aswell as Derek just incase someone else was
wondering the same thing. hope noone minds.
thanks,

Dave
