Confirmed ( imho ), a straight uni joint absorbs less power. However, there's
no motion to get grease around in the joint, so it may wear just as fast anyway.


The rear x-member article is titled "penultimate rear crossmember", by Kelvin
Dietz & Gary Savage. Appeared in a US publication : The Dime, Quarterly, and
is mentioned on the DQ website, but you have to actually buy the backissue to
get hold of the article. There's a link to DQ from Ozdat, and apparently Kelvin's
car appears in Sport Compact Car, July issue. Should hit our news-stands late
August, but doesn't explain how to build it - just the concept and finished
article.
