Hmm...can't speak for rear discs, but I've lost all rear braking before, and it didn't make a lot of difference - i.e. I found the problem by observing the flames licking up from the LR wheel, not through the pedal ! As a more general comment, maybe the discs appear to make a huge difference partly because the original drums don't get a lot of attention ? I know mine don't. D ( just sayin', no reason. Carry on. ) F >I think Pete must be getting used to his 4 discs, I agree they don't do much >at low speed other than balance the car as they hardly get warm compared to >the fronts, but I still like having them there for the high speed stops ):- >I also like them in the wet as my drums were very touchy but the discs give >you incredible stopping power when it's raining. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
