I prepared a response to your original question earlier but just wanted to
check on a few things before I posted it. I would check with your local rego
authorities with regards to their views on your question. If you are in vic
we have a lister (Peter Parry) who is in the game and can advise you. The
National Code still isn't being applied to all things in all states, it's
still down to interpretation and what colour jocks are in this week and how
old you are etc.
