Drew,
What size M/Cyl did you fit? If you have larger brakes than standard it may
be the master cylinder bore is too small, although it sounds more like a
bleeding problem to me.
Get some new brake fluid and use a bleed tube of the end of the end of the
bleed nipple into old brake fluid in a container. (this helps prevent air
re-entering the line). Start by bleeding the master cylinder thoroughly.
Then the left rear cylinder, bleeding with high pedal pressure before
cracking the bleed screw and shutting before the pedal hits the deck. Then
do the right rear, then the front left and lastly the right front! If the
mongrel doesn't give up after that, giving a good firm brake pedal that
will require readjustment of your screw adjuster, odds are that the master
cylinder is the problem. Then ..............................
1. Go to the nearest liquor outlet with money.
2. Buy a slab of your favourite poison etc..........
