Subject: Further to Yamaha Pistons
Thrill Seekers
Further to my last batch of dribble, I just researched the
prolites and they take an 18mm pin. Nightmare!
However
The 500XT Yamaha has a piston listed for bores between 87mm
and 89mm which takes a 20mm pin. These are listed as $186.50 per
slug. They are not described as prolites etc and considering this
catalog is a couple of years old I dont think you would get much change out of
$200/slug. I have a good mate that owns the Browns Plains Bike Shop, and
I will try and get a trade price off him.
I may also research Ross Racing Pistons and let you all
know.
Regards
Brad
