Justin, I buy and sell datto parts, and make up some parts that are hard to get (if there is enough demand for them). The problem with turbo kits is that I would only be reinventing the wheel as lots of companies have done these before. I you need fitting instructions Corky Hills book "Maximum boost" is probably one of the best around for turbo selection and fitting up turbos to any engine. I think injection kits for L series are also pretty well catered for with really good equipment by people such as EFI hardware in Melbourne (Steve Newing) and others. The idea of doing off the shelf performance heads for 1600cc, 1800cc and 2000cc engines could be worthwhile. I will do some costing on prep work and see how it stacks up. Manifolds for L series are pretty easily available. I can do alumium flywheels for L series at the moment but an exchange cast flywheel service could be worthwhile. Thanks for the ideas Justin, as its getting you guys what you want that helps me succeed in trying to make a living! Cheers Feral Errol ---------- From: justin darragh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Mr Feral Date: Saturday, August 05, 2000 3:21 DatRat, Correct me if Im wrong but the company you run deals in custom work for racing? An enquiry. What would you charge to produce a turbo and or injection kit for the L-series? Probably just manifolds and fitting instructions for available ancilleries and turbos. I think there would be a market for them just based on the 9 people so far that I have recommended to your site looking to do just such a project. This could be extended (depending on your level of skill) to readily available hi-po heads, manifolds, flywheels etc. With the amount of time I have spent at the local wreckers lately I can see parts are cheap and available. Yellow Terra and Air Reaserch did it for GMH and Ford mabey DatRat could do it for Datsun? I am very keen! Just a thought Justin ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
