"No spark at the plug" - so the problem can't be fuel related.

If you don't have +8v at the coil with just the Ign ON you could have a shot
Ballast resistor. Again with the Ign on check if you have 12v into the BR
and around 8-9v out. If it's stuffed just join the wires together to bypass
it temporarily but get another BR of any Datsun or Toyota that use them. if
the BR checks out, remove the start wire from the solenoid on the starter
motor and the turn the key to the START position and see if you have +12 at
the coil. If not then your Ign switch is worn and need a little tag bending
a bit so you have contact on the Ign start wire. If all this checks out I'd
be looking in the dizzy, check if you have a spark when you open the points,
change the condenser, check the cap especially check to see the little black
doover on the spring in the centre is there. If everything so far to here
checks out you must nearly have a shot high tension lead from the coil to
the dizzy.

Driving along car just stops. Full of fuel,just done 30km. Check for spark
at plug-nothing. Check at coil-nothing. Replace coil-nothing. Replace
module-nothing. Notice fuel filter empty, replace-nothing. Think it is the
pump, check by un-plugging filter place "pump-in" hose into container of
fuel-no fuel sucked out. Pull-out pump and test, It is working fine. Place a
cup of fuel into carbie-wont start.
I have no idea? The thing turns over no problems but wont fire.
Any help?
