Andy,
The 200B SSS Coupe has a few nice bits for your 1600.

Speedo and Tacho are very nice units and fit into a 1600 cluster with a bit
of fabrication (if you don't want them I'll buy them if the price is right)

Front seats and reel seat belts

Front struts & brakes (Sumitomo solid 253mm disc ie made in japan) - some
have dual pots but on one side only; these are reasonably good brakes on a
1600 but decent pads are hard to find. Standard pads on a mild street 1600
are OK and heaps better than stockers. The rear drums might fit on a 1600 as
the rearend is IRS, not sure on this one.

The diff is a 4.1 R160 OK for a L engine, FJ's break them easily (ask
Wardy). If you take the diff grab the speedo drive out of the gearbox so
your speedo will read accurately with a 4.1

Alternator is a 60 amp hitachi internal reg - good units

Bendix brake booster & cylinders are OK, not my favourite but they work.

Some of them have Koito QI lights, look for bulbs instead of sealed beams.

That's about all I can think off hand.

Terry

To My Dear list,

I recently spotted a 200B coupe in a paddock gathering rust. I know it has
IRS, a set of mags, manual gearbox and a L20 with a u67 head. Is there any
special parts on this car that I can use on my 1600? What struts and brakes
do they run? What diff do they run? Thanks guys and girls.

Love Andy.
