last night I tried to reply but just as I got finished a rather long mail to
you the f#*ken system crashed and I couldn't send it.
Anyway saved it to disc and now it tells me the saved doco hasn't any data.
Go figure. Mabey it wasn't to be.
Anyway the engine is a stock as a rock sss1600+ 4speed. The thing has only
done 5000km in 28yrs and bar a spat water pump last week has never been
opened. This is one of 4 cars I am currently working on as well as two that
aint mine. I do 200km a day and my F150 customline is nice(and rare) but V8s
shit me. It dont sing or work. The clubby was an alternative to a Cooper s,
just me and the road. I have to enjoy it.
I am excited about your offer of a turn key engine. If you take it on that
is one less thing for me to worry about. Say $3000 including the turbo and
not including your fee? I have done the $6000 bottom end to often, something
simple. The car flys as it is so anything you come up with will only improve
it.Shall I send a grand deposit?

Could you explain the L-series crank and alt. pulleys to me. What are they
for. Also the flywheel, why race only? Are the fuel pumps stock fitment?
