Mick, >>>How does 2.10 stack up against something like a touring car (for comparison purposes only)? I think there down around 1:30's but don't know for sure, can anyone confirm. Trev -----Original Message----- From: Mick Ralph [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, 21 August 2000 17:53 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Rusty front X-members and the Island Trevor the damage was done to shanes' stock(ish) 1600 not mine but i must confess he is using my spare adjustable castor bars.. However there is no doubt in my mind that the x-member was rusted out and it just tore away. The car itself is virtually rust free and in really good condition so it is surprising that the engine crossmember is so damn rusty.. there are drainage(?) holes in the underside of the x-member an i have noticed that these can block up with dirt and crap esp if u do a lot of off roading but the holes on this x-member were clean and not blocked. We are going to get some digital pics of the way it tore off and I'll post them here soon.. You are lucky to be able to have Phillip Island in your back yard.. I used to live in Melb years ago and as a motorcycle racer, Phillip island on the New years weekend was a tradition.. Man I used to love riding there!!
