Some of those cars will be turbo or supercharged meaning that their
effective engine is multiplied. The factor used to be 1.7 x engine capacity.
I think cams changed that this year and it is now x 2, I think.

Apparently the RS was up at Leyburn and is very very quick.. The other 1600
Datto in my class is the one who rolled last Friday so it looks like I will
be the only 1600 up there.. Actually I just found another 1600 (Alan
reardon) in the over 2500cc class running a 2720cc engine (i wonder what
that could be)? There are lots of Zeds including John Siddins (outright
2nd fastest at Leyburn) and also quite a few 1200's and some wild sounding
cars have entered the 'odditty' class incl a Mazda 323 hatch with a 3509cc
motor and a Pontiac Firebird with a 7.5 litre engine
