yeah I test drove a few WRX's after doing scheduled services on them when I
worked for Nissan/Subaru
I didn't speed in any of them but I can garuntee I got from standing still
up to the speed limit extremely quick
next time you're test driving one get to around 120kph throw it down a gear
and plant your right foot
you'd be amazed how much the rear squats and it just launches
I took the bosses STi for a drive and tried it
it was lowered quite a lot, threw it down a gear at around 130kph the thing
squated so much the rear skirt scraped the road for around 30-50 metres
I looked over quickly to see if he was gunna go off and me
he just giggled and said "gotta get around to getting a smaller rear skirt"
:)
