Thanks for the report and well done, nice to hear that you had a good time
and brought it home in one piece to take up the challenge another day. These
fast 1200's bring back memories, shoe is on other foot these days but they
still have the same effect on us 1600 drivers ):- when they fly by. What
engines were in the quick 1200"s? A's L's etc
Your 20kph deficit at the trap must have been a bit of a surprise, I don't
know the track so could you tell me what was your mid corner speed before
the straight and how far from the corner was the reading taken. Where do you
think that the Escort had it's advantage over you, hp? gearing? handling?
driver had no fear etc.
