List members,
B/Bird transverse arms are ~345mm long, while Stanza ones are
~315mm.
Stanza toe-control arms ~400mm, B/Bird ~400mm.
I will try swapping T/Arms ( if they fit, and if the toe
control arms are long enough) and see what kind of neg. camber it gives me but
they are longer than I wanted.
I would like (stock) transverse arms that are ~325 mm
long (this is the NISMO group 2 Stanza spec.) any ideas?
What length are the longest (stock) toe-control
arms?
The B/Bird brake rotors are ~250mm in diameter (10in.), the
Stanza ones are ~240mm, both are solid (and quite heavy) discs. The 280Z ones
(the best?), to my knowledge, are 250 mm & vented.
Is 250mm the biggest standard brake rotor size on
Datsuns?
What kind of calipers do 280Z's have, ditto
240K?
Are vented rotors lighter than solid rotors?
What kind of improvement in (cold) stopping can I expect
with this small (4 percent) increase in rotor size?
Any other information or links on front end
suspension?
Thank you in advance.
Nick
