I agree with Errol on this one, we are here to talk Datto's, the Subject of
this thread is enough for most readers to just hit the X button.
That said, I'll have 2c worth and that's it from me, if you wanna talk some
more with a SOB who's been around a bit then I'd be very happy to so but
"off list."
There are dickheads in all jobs out there and that's life, we don't
discriminate between any form of employment or unemplyment on this list
period, no ifs, buts or why fore's - we treat each other as being equal.
We've all had run ins with the police, especially as it goes with driving a
30 year old car whatever the make but remember the Datsun 1600 has a
reputation from it's race & rally days and 9 times out of 10 most of us have
thoroughly deserved their attention. On the 1 /10 that we didn't deserve
their attention you just be polite and answer the questions and you'll be
OK, I have found this approach is a bit more difficult in Victoria for some
reason that I haven't quite worked out, they seem to be very young police
there and most probably didn't even attend politeness class before being let
out of the academy but the world would be a sad place without them.
Instead of bagging out the police on the list over your bad experiences with
police in general in your city then did it ever occur to you that the police
on the list just might be able to offer some advice to you on how you may
deal with the situation that triggered your outburst.

There will be no complaint, no bitterness, no hard
feelings just a simple "Sorry"! I feel I do not have a
chip on my shoulder, I am always polite and nice to
police people when they do pull me over! I just wish
they ( I know it is a general statement) be nice to
me, instead of being rude and harsh! I presume you
have to be this way so people do not walk over you but
this is my thoughts at 5:14pm Saturday Sept 2000. It
mite change tomorrow or tonite. I have read over what
I said and I know it was harsh and mean but everyone
