The coast last night sucked to all those that were asking about it (lot of
cars which was ok, but cops had the major cruise route closed off)
I only saw one 510 and one 1000 sedan (never seen it round before, dark
green, anyone on the list?)
boys in blue were out in force but were generally pretty easy to get along
with and a lot of them just chatted with us and made comments on our cars.
I got pulled over once and was kinda worried cause my car is like 50mm off
the ground all round but he only pulled me over to say it looked good hehe.
as usual there was one who spoiled it for the many. A few mates were
sitting in the back of their ute watching cars go past and a cop walked up
and said "you've got 30 seconds to get out of the tray or I'll find a defect
with your car" they jumped out straight away and appologised but the cop
still went over it and defected as much as he could :( He even got them
cause their indicator blinked to slow. The cops were just standing there
with smug grins and using their watches timed the indicator and just said
"yup just as I thought it's too slow"
where were all the datsuns?? surely there must be some people on the list
who live close enough to go for a cruise and fly the flag for datsun down
amongst the modified car hangouts
Mick were you there?? I looked out for the yellow peril but didn't see it.
