There was a rumour around a couple of years ago, that for $A8000 you could
get fully built factory shells from Japan as a replacement part. This was
later modified to recycled US shells that were being dipped in stripper and
repainted, but I dont know if it was actually happening or simply a rumour.
What was a fact was that 240Z's were being recycled in the US and sold as
refurbished cars by Nissan dealers with warranties.
