thanks richard, do you know how hard it is to do a front-cut on a 1600? I
would be looking to cut as far back as possible (ie just infront of the
strut mounts), and is it extremely difficult? Also what sort of quality
would be expected? I'm just weighing up the options between fixing (i think
it's way too expensive) and stripping my beloved 510.
