The original Z18ET turbo is a T3, at least 2 different ones were used;
Turbonetics and Garrett the later more common. The popular upgrade in Aus is
to use the RB30ET from the VL commydore. A T25 or T28 could be plumbed in
but there would be work involved.

a mate of mine has a z18 et and it is in need of a new turbo. So my
question is what is the size of the original turbo? and also will any
other turbo's bolt sttraight onto the factory exhaust manifold, such as
a t25 or 28?
