well i got the car its got SA plates on it, but its straight with not much
rust at all, dodgy hotwire mags with kelly chargers, a nice nissan sports
wheel (with a momo to come) all new door trims which look immaculate, custom
seats and 2 spare windscreens, all new body rubbers, 2 sets of immaculate
lights, no dash in this one but one on the way, so first impressions were
good. Opened the bonnet and the engine is immaculate (its going to look
rather tasty in my car) and its all complete (besides the computers and
coils which were kept in storage). I opened the boot to find all new front
end with pedders/nolathene bushes, including everything engine crossmember
etc u name it and my best find yet a fully rebuilt 1968 steering box. This
car has had a lot of suspension work (he said 4500 in parts) prodrag tokico
shocks with red springs of unknown brand.(there's also a nice fat sway bar
in there too.)Its got 240k brakes i think i havent gone in there yet to chek
em out as the rain has started. With another 4 boxes of gear on the way all
i can say is he wasnt lieing when he said 20000 had been spent on this car
no worries at all. And why did he only want 1200, he wants a new fishing
reel. Good luck to him i say :)
