I've just installed my forged pistons in my FJ20T
Block.
Just wondering for those who have previously
rebuilt a motor.... is a tight crankshaft turn mean a good fit???
I'm turning the crank with the pistons and rods all
tightened up to spec, and it seems that the rings being new ofcourse are giving
the motor a "tight" feel about the turn when they are in motion in the bore. Is
this normal??? When I run the motor in will it all set in to place??? BTW
everything (including rings) have been gapped to the right spec and bearings
have been flexiguaged and clearances checked.
Thanks
Anthony
