Luke,
The R31 struts will bolt onto the steering arms but the strut base is 54mm
& the steering arm boss 40mm. If you do not have a spacer ring to adapt the
different diameters the strut can move on the base. The brakes present a
bit of a problem unless you use the skyline master cylinder/booster as
well. The pedal pressures become too high
The bluebird/skyline rims are offset inwards a lot more than 180/200B rims.
They are designed for negative offset geometry.
Cheers
Feral Errol

hey all,
i have been told by a fairly reputable source that r31 skyline front
struts and brakes are a straight fit onto a 1600/ 180B . is this true?
if so what width wheels could you fit ?
i am looking at a set of 15 x 6.5's which don't fit on the standard 180B
struts. Even my bluebird trx rims with 195's don't fit on the standard
180B struts, does this seem odd? What have other 180B/510 owners used?

cheers
