Dave,
Injectors are a fairly robust item these days - I've found that a bottle of
spitfire does the trick every 3 months or so. If they are ticking then
that's different and replacement is the go. You can look at them yourself
with a magnifying glass and see if the pin is burred, if they're past their
use by date it is usually cheaper to pick up a set of replacements from an
importer. I think the list recommends CA18injectors for the Z18ET. Getting
them tested can either be very cheap if you can get mate's rates or very exy
if you just drive in off the street. The bigger EFI specialists will have a
flow tester.

it might not even be the problem but i'm slowly getting the bugs ironed out.
