..........I have my 1600 back on the road! Remember the mystery cam? Turns out its more like a monster cam, nobody is home until just over 3,000rpm, then the party starts. Might have to get something a bit milder cos with the rec'oed peanut head and valve train (with reasonable compression once more) I'm getting smoke under full throttle. I'm hesitant about getting a pair of Webers since it's a daily driver and 15L/100km doesn't sound too flash to me :) I think I will leave the bottom end since I'm hoping to transplant a SR20DE next year. Will just chuck a milder cam in and stick with the SU's for now I think.

While it was at the garage somebody reversed into it as they were coming out of a petrol pump and knocked both the lights on the drivers side out, I'm not sure what's changed but they replaced the headlights and the panel that screws in around them, and now the UNdamaged (original) side is significantly brighter than the side that was smashed and repaired. I've had at the wattages look about right Bosch B2 and B1 sealed beams I think, which I'm pretty sure I had beforehand... does anybody have any thoughts about this problem?

Cheers
