Dear list,
I went to the local electroplater today and asked how much to have my
bumpers straightened and re-chromed. My front one has a bit of a buckle in
it and the back one is nearly throw away material. Neither has rust. He
quoted me $220 each. He didn't care what condition it was in. Flat rate of
$220. So......does anyone have a really dented up old front bumper, without
rust, that they will sell me so I can get my moneys worth? (In the Brisbane
area.)
