Iggy,
Life is about learning I believe. I'm sure every other lister has made the
same or worse mistakes. The best part about this list is that I learn
something new every day.

Iggy,
I assume it is a metal cutting hole saw. If so the speed for a 2" saw
should only be about 400 rpm max. At higher speeds the teeth will burn Bye
Bye $50. A good cutting compound to use is "Trefolex". Also keep the
pressure on the saw light and let the teeth do the cutting, using the
minimum amount of weight needed to keep cutting.

Hey guys,
Was trying to install my EFI loom today but am in a little bit of trouble..
I was drilling a lovely new hole for the firewall grommet. I was using a
hole saw with lots of Kero for lube. But now all I have is a blunt hole
saw,
a pretty shiny circle in my firewall, and a passenger footwell full of
kerosene. All I seem to generate is heat and smoke. Any of you guys done
this before? Am I drilling too fast? Help!!!
Thanks again,
Iggy
