The port design on Datto's is bad, specially the exhaust port.
You should carefully 'hoik' out some of the port wall to get a nice port
shape.
Add tuned length extractors and intake tract, twin carbs, low restriction
exhaust and air filters.
Dished pistons are a no-no as well, so replace with flat-tops (Bluebird s2
isn't so bad)
Go for welded-up head to give squish.
Different story for turbo though, try 280ZX pistons (deep dish).
