Hi,
I have tried to fix the timing on my car and it is better now but I have a
question. Pinging is a metallic sound caused by too much advance of too
little octane, right? I have the distributor now set fully retarded in the
slot, but I've moved the distributor so its running better. I tried to get
ti about middle but no luck. If I advance it I get pinging, but thats ok
cause I am runing unleaded so plenty of room for more advance with super,
premium, optimax, maybe even avgas!!! (not, I'm too poor). Anyway, keep an
eye out for a good value datsun and let me know what you think.
