Terry,
The S110 240 RS is a separate model of the S110 (Gazelle here) built
exclusively for competition use. It uses the FJ24 engine (Not available in
any other vehicle) an option gear box as standard. It also has the live
axle H190 with alloy carrier LSD (including oil cooler return line direct
spray on to pinion gear!)
12mm Lock wired crown wheel bolts, extreme duty LSD with S/Steel carrier,
29 spline axles, double tapered roller axle bearings, ventilated discs &
four spot calipers front and rear.
Yes Its different to any other S110. God you've got to love them for that
beast!!!!!
When I'm reincarnated, I want to come back as a 240 RS The last of the
rear wheel drive super cars!!!!
Cheers n sensitive comments please ya bastards cause I love em!

Errol,
Is a 240RS S110 a Silvia (Gazelle) or a separate model. I've seen a S110
Gazelle RS-X with a FJ20turbo and IRS in an import mag a while back and it
was imported from Japan that way. This doesn't mean to say it was factory
standard but I have seen an IRS Gazelle. Looked good too, (for a Gazelle
that is) and went damn hard too. I'll see if I can find the article.

Malcom,
If you have a look at my website you can see a works 240RS rear axle
assembly complete. It is definitely not independent.
