How happy am I !!!!!! Went to the wreckers
today looking for some 200B struts, some Hilux 4 spots and the rear brake set-up
off an R31. Well I didn't end up with the 200B struts yet(the guy was
closed) but got the calipers of the 80 model hilux for $25 each. I
couldn't believe my luck! Went to the next wrecker looking for some 200B
struts but turned up ones with broken rotors. I was walking out and
spotted a R31 on stands with the entire brake assembly still intact. Asked
the guy and he said $80 bucks the lot, I almost choked, I thought he was kidding
but he wasn't. So all I needed to do was get them off myself. No
worries. All come off sweetly and off I drove $80 later.
So I'm a very happy camper after my days "shopping" , all
I need is the 200B struts and rotors and bobs your uncle, complete brake
upgrade.
