I have my new l20b in now and is going great it has a rebuilt bottom end
bored 60 thou, new pistons bearings etc, the head is a U67 head with major
porting and 2 mm bigger inlet valves and a c 72 degree cam all rebuilt by
myself. My problem is that the tappets are really noisy especially one
which I can't pick which one. I have checked the clearences and how the
lobes make contact on the rockerpads and is all OK. Because the cam is
hotter than standard would this make more noise?? does any one else with a
hot cam experience this? After any help as it is anoying. Another question
would I be able to modify a L28 injection setup to suit the l20? shorten
the inlet mani etc?
