Justin,
The CA16 FWD engine is the same as the RWD, its only the gearbox spacer
plate that differs FWD to RWD.
I have fitted a FWD engine into a Sunny RWD. using a Bluebird five speed.
All you need is a spacer plate of a RWD and bingo!
BTW, if you want to make it carburetted, using an electronic distributor
for spark, and also use webers????, Get a GH Sigma distributor, igniter and
coil The dissy is easily adapted o the CA drive shaft, for the crank angle
sensor. I have seen a CA16 engine that made about 160hp using this system.

Terry,
I was scammed, on further inspection they had it listed as RWD on their
documents but an hour after I mailed the list the boss called to query my
order. He was confused as to what the company was to ship me considering
Nissan never made the CA in rwd. The guy I had been dealing with was a git
and didn't know enough about his product.
I was major pissed off!:-(
The SR16 it turns out is in the same predicament, fwd only. Where as the
boss told me the CA should only need sump and bell housing adapter plate to
convert, the SR would need major surgery. (he has tryed it to get more
SR20fwds off the floor)
The saga continues.
