The fuel gauge wire at the dash connector is Pin 7 (Yellow). The fuel gauge is as accurate as it's ever going to be, the main problem is in the internal tank design as it's not that well baffled. If you clean up the contact on the sender unit you'll also get an improvement. regards, Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Adam Sent: Sunday, 19 November 2000 4:16 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Power for Fuel Guage. I am installing new wiring in my 1600 (1971). During the change over I have cut power to the fuel gauge. Anyone know which wire this is? Alternatively anyone know alternatives for a fuel gauge, ie. aftermarket circuits, as mine is not all that accurate anyway. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
