Hi all, hj47 series cruiser callipers onto 240k struts with tn magna
vented rotors work a treat. The rotor has to be machined down to fit inside
the calliper and stud holes drilled and that's it.
    cheers....
    Scott.......

Trevor, Terry, Errol and List,
To re-cap and consolidate,
The 200B has the caliper mounting flange very close to the backing plate.
The mounting bolts pass through the caliper body and engage in the strut
mounting.
The Bluebird caliper has the same internals ( I think ) as the 200B, however
the caliper mounting flange is further away from the backing plate, the
caliper body slips in between the backing plate and the mounting flange and
the mounting bolts pass through the mounting flange and engage in the
caliper body.
Note that the bolt spacing of the 200B and Bluebird is identical (~90mm)
What I would like to know is if there is a known four-spot caliper that will
fit the bluebird strut with nil or minor modification.
The Bluebird strut is readily available, has a large diameter disc that can
easily be changed for a vented one, the right offset for TRX rims, large
stub axle and is a good strong strut.
It has some important drawbacks though, (large coil diameter, large steering
arm locating spigot, and the wrong offset for other than Bluebird wheels )

Thanks,
Nick
