Try an insurance broker rather than going through the large companies. When
I was 21 I got a quote on my 200b 2dr, I listed all mods including engine,
diff, brakes. the lot and I was still able to get full insurance. No it
wasn't turbo charged but it might aswell have been.

I checked up with my insurance company (Suncorp/Metway) today and it turns
out that if I put a Z18t/CA18det (still undecided) in my 1600, they would
not be able to give me insurance. Just wondering what insurance companies
do you guys with turbo charged engines go through. I'm turning 19 in a
month and a half if that helps.
