Hi all. For about a month now my friend and I have been sicking each
other up for a drag. I am curious if anyone might know of an outcome. My
friend owns a series 2 Rx7. 12A mildport, rejeted standard carb, extractors
and exhaust to suit. As far as I know that's the extent of the mods to her
car. The diff is a 3.9 on original 14" mags. My car is a 200b SSS.
I run an L20b, 87mm bore all the usual internal crap. Ported head. big
valves 78deg cam. Quad throttlebody injection, Datrally manifold, Extractors
and the rest. 4.11 diff on 14" mags. I run avgas due to the compression as
well. I personally think I'll suck her in, chew her up a bit and spit her
out again. But!!!! I haven't had many drags with rotaries. I've driven a
couple and I know how hard they can go with very little mods. Anyone come up
against such a foe? I want datto's to reign supreme!! Can anyone give me
peace of mind?
